Ōtsu-e: Miró, Serra, Gomis

The Japanese journal Bijutsu Forum 21 (美術フォーラム21) has published my last research on the reception of Ōtsu-e among Catalan artists (「カタルーニャにおける大津絵の受容 ――エウダル・セラ、セルス・ゴミス、ジョアン・ミロの活動を例として」). The study analyzes the discovery and the spread that Japanese folk paintings had, during the mid-20th century, in Catalonia, with an special impact among collectors and such artists as Joan Miró and Eudald Serra.
